Making the best healthy onion soup recipe is not really difficult and even a beginner in the kitchen can handle it. You just need to get a larger amount of onions.
Peel the onions and chop them finely.
Put the chopped onions in a pot with fat (lard, vegetable oil) and fry until they get a beautiful brown color. Be careful not to burn them, otherwise they will be bitter.
Add smooth flour to the onions and make a roux, which we dilute with broth or water and bring to a boil.
Season the soup with salt and caraway.
Cook everything well, at least 20-30 minutes.
