Chickpea soup is healthy, chickpeas are often referred to as a superfood in our menus. However, when cooking chickpeas, remember that it is necessary to soak them in water for 10 to 12 hours overnight.
In advance, we first soak the chickpeas. Chickpeas should be soaked for at least 10 hours, so it is best to leave them soaked overnight.
Drain the water and cook the chickpeas in fresh water until soft for about an hour.
Peel and chop the onion.
Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion, which we will fry. Add pressed garlic and dust with plain flour.
Then add frozen vegetables, cooked chickpeas and add the vegetable broth.
Stir the soup, add the bay leaf, allspice and whole pepper.
Season with salt and marjoram, then cook chickpea soup for 30 minutes.
